Voucher Program Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I use my Bourse Voucher?
Your Voucher may be redeemed at any food or retail shop in The Bourse. Philly’s Gourmet Café (entrance off 5th Street Plaza or 5th Street Lobby) and Café Bravo coffee kiosk also accept Vouchers.

Will I receive change back if I do not spend the full $10?
You must spend $5.00 or more to receive change. When using the Voucher at the Café Bravo coffee kiosk you will receive change back regardless of the purchase amount.

Do you accept credit card payments for Voucher orders?
No, we only accept company checks, money orders or cash. Cash must be hand delivered, do not mail.

What if the purchase amount is more than the Voucher amount?
To make a purchase that is greater than the amount of the Voucher, simply pay the difference with another form of payment accepted by the merchant. Not all merchants accept credit cards. Planning to bring extra spending money would be best.

What is the difference between the Voucher Program and Box Lunch Program?
The Voucher Program offers more variety in an easy to purchase and use format. The Voucher is the same value as cash, and can be used to purchase up to $10 worth of food or merchandise from any vendor.

The Box lunches are pre-ordered set meals from a particular vendor. For the Box Lunch Program, it is recommended you only deal with one or two food vendors, limiting food selection. Arrangements and payment are made directly by you through the vendor. This option can save time if your schedule is tight by having lunches ready for your planned arrival time.

What is the benefit of using the Voucher Program?
The vouchers are ordered in advance so it is more convenient for parents, teachers and students to not have to worry about children carrying around cash.

Vouchers also make great gifts and are a great option to include in Tour Packages.

Are Vouchers returnable or exchangeable for cash?
Vouchers do not expire therefore they are not returnable. Vouchers may NOT be exchanged for cash.

Does my Voucher expire?
No, the voucher does not expire. If the certificate is not redeemed within two years of the date issued a 3 percent per month administrative charge will be made from the consideration paid for this certificate.

Are there any Comps?
Comps are provided to local Tour Operators depending on the size of the order. Typically 1 per 50 is given. If you are a local tour operator, please write this on your form before sending it in.
